About
I was born in the mountains, raised in a desert, studied and worked in an island and now I reside in Vancouver.

I knew that I wanted to be surrounded by wool when I grew up. While visiting a sheep farm in Malta in 1999, I wore a woollen 7 gauge sweater so new, that it still held the heat from the machines.

My life of travelling allowed me to learn traditional design processes from all over, ranging from the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries to the pre-colonial block printing communities.

After earning my BFA in Fashion Design and later Associates in Menswear, I had the opportunity to work in both industries in New York.

The medical supply shortage during the pandemic inspired me to create a circular medical level 2 isolation gown which fits sizes between 2.5%tile of female sizing and 97.5%tile male sizing as a part of my final thesis in the Technical Apparel Programme at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University, British Columbia.

I now work as a product developer and designer at the State of Underdress, Vancouver.
